New Hatchlings

Hey, i am thinking about breeding my snakes again this year, but i'm unsure as to what to do with the baby's. In the past i just kept them in Chinese tubs inside an aquarium, with a heat mat touching all of them to keep them at the correct temperature. But this year i have a bigger budget to play with, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what they use and how they regulate the heat??

I have an animal plastics rack with 15 quart tubs (Probably too big for fresh hatchlings, but they'll grow into them) and use flexwatt heat tape with a herpstat 1 thermostat to keep temps controlled. Works great for all my babies!

I use a 48 bin xpvc rack that I built. The bins are small rectangular containers. Heating is done through back heat with 6" THG heat tape on a herpstat 4.

For my brnad new hatchlings, I use the Rubbermaid Take along bins, in home made wooden racks (I got three from a local guy and several from Jeff Mohr).

I found my babies ate better in the smaller containers.

Once they move up to double pinks, I move them to 6qt bins, and then to 15qt, then 32qt.

I recently signed up to be a THG distributor, so I will be using that, for my Corns.
