new here- first shed

I love this site. Learned SO much. I've only had my corns for 2 months. They're a 6 yr. old pair. Ward and June Cleaver.
Today June shed, and I happened to be there to watch the whole thing. This is why caring for a wild creature is so rewarding, I think. I was fascinated as she punched her head against everything to start it off. Then she began- the skin from head to tail slowly slid off inside out like a banana peel. All intact. How cool- at least to ME, having never seen this before. My 9 yr. old son was beside himself, shaking in pure excitement as he too watched. I bought these snakes for him, but now, I'M addicted. Too much to like. :)

Welcome to your new cornsnake addiction!

Thats cool. I've never seen my snake shed. He always seems to like to shed at night. He's blue before bed and of course when i wake up there his skin streched out along the cage. Good Luck with your corns!!!
