Hello, my name is Kinion but my friends call me Kin. My husband is Steve. we have over 100 snakes (mostly corns) others include cal kings, thayeri, ball pythons and a few odds and ends. I also keep some turtles(a box turtle and 2 snappers), lizards (green anoles, leopard geckos, Iguanas), 10 birds, 13 cats, 3 dogs... and i'm sure theres something i'm leaving out. I'm on a few other websites and forums but it just took me a while to "get used" to this format. We are also a fairly new reptile rescue for the richmond, va area. Our adult male Iguana was a rescue who was found in a parking lot in downtown, richmond starving to death... he's all healthy now and when no one wanted to adopt him, i just kept him to myself :) Just thought i'd say hello and i look forward to finding out how to post pics of some of my critters :)

Hi Kin...... Most of the guys here are friendly...LOL.
I can't wait to see some of your zoo up here and find out a bit more about how you operate....
As for pics if you get stuck just whistle and we'll talk you through it......

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

I truly wish you success with your rescue, they are such hard work and often heart breaking but yet so unbelievably rewarding. It takes a great person to do such great work!

Hello and welcome to the forum! Sounds like you have quite a collection of animals..lol..you even outdo my mini zoo..lol...I definitely commend you running a rescue group..it is a hard but very rewarding thing to do :0)

Can't wait to see pics of your scaly and furry friends :)

thanks for the kind welcomes Jeff, Mike and Rebecca.

Rebecca- its hard work being a rescue... i have only rehomed 2 animals... 1 being a 4 1/2 foot Iguana.. but it makes me feel soft and fuzzy on the inside :)

thanks- i will post some photos of some feeding pics of SOME of my adults... if ya'll have seen these before- i apologize... but i have started to cool my snakes and this was their last feeding...

Hey! I can't believe you weren't already here with all your corns!!

thanks nanci- i tried to hang out here... but i was so confused... the layout is completely different...than what i thought i could handle... so i just spent alot of yesterday on here... maybe getting a hold of it... and since my work IS my snakes... and most are cooling, what better way to relax after a crazy breeding season than to check out a different site :) but i posted some photos in the "photo" forum :)

I think the easiest way to keep up is just read New Posts! This is my favorite site by a mile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELCOME! I have to say your pics are some of the best I've seen of stripes. I'm not a stripe fan but I'm almost sure if I saw one at my local reptile show like one of yours I'd almost have to get one.

Look forward to seeing your posts on this site... again.. WELCOME!
