Hi, Well recently my 40 gal tank cracked and i read that my 750g ball python would live happy in a 20 gal. unfortunately my 76g corn snakes lives in that 20 gal. i was wondering if the cornsnake can live happy in a spare 10 gal long i have. i put him in there once and it looks like hes got a ton of room. what are your opinions?

A 10L tank would be perfect for the size of your snake. I would go ahead and buy a 20L instead of the 10 since it would be best for a corn to live in a 20 when they get older. If, however, you don't want to do this than yes a 10L tank will be fine for your corn short term.

Also, be cautious of the fact that your corn might get a little freaked out by the tank change, especially when reducing the amount of space it had before making the swap.

Whoops, just noticed you said the 10L is a spare tank. In that case go ahead! But like I said, be cautious of how the snake reacts.

A ten gallon is fine until they get long enough to wrap around two sides. Does that make sense?
(if the tank is 2ft by 1ft, the snake can be in it until they reach 3'. 2+1=3)

makes perfect sense thanks for all your replies, but its going to be temporrary til i find another tank for him
