I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and my little buddy Jones!

I was never really into herps of any kind until I had the opportunity to work with a rescue zoo. Fell in love ever since! Jones is my first corn snake :) and my first snake of any kind haha.

I've been creeping on the forums for a few months now. Getting info before I got Jones and then general upkeep questions I needed answered :)

Here's some pics of Jones's viv. I originally had aspen, but my fiancée's allergies were so bad that she couldn't be in the same room as the viv (which is in the living room so that wasn't too good). I switched to the Eco Earth with a sprinkling of Reptibark which so far I'm loving and now my fiancée can actually spend time with our snake!

Thanks for the welcome :) I actually completely changed his setup to that when I switched from aspen. Turns out it was the right thing to do! I see him out a lot more and he loves his climbing branch. He's all curled up happy as can be! Also I don't know for sure if Jones is in fact a boy. But once he gets older I'm hoping to take him to a vet or good breeder to find out for sure.
