Greetings and salutations ladies and gentlemen of the board. I'm Drex, and I hail from the city of Wilmington, North Carolina! I've been an avid snake lover for most of my life as far as i can remember, but all family members i've lived with are repulsed by such magnificent and docile creatures. Coincidentally i was born in the year of the snake, so call it what you will but it seems like an omen of sorts :p

I'm especially an enormous fan of Corn Snakes, and this brought me to find this forum here through google! When i'm able to substain myself enough to go and get a place of my own, I will own a couple corns i assure you. Now i'm very unfamiliar with the hets and amels and whathaveyou, and i've tried getting an easier grasp on how they all work, so i ask forgiveness for a newbies perspective of "if its a snow its a snow, and if its a ghost its a ghost" Speaking of....

I already know which two corns i shall own down the road, so let me share them with you. I wish to own a Snow corn and a Creamsicle, and perhaps breed them. I'm not sure how they'd work out but its still an idea.

Anyways, thats a little bit about me! I look forward to getting more involved in the forums and meeting new people along the way!

I was not a fan of reptiles myself until we brought home our corn. I think a cornsnake makes a fabulous pet, and I'm having quite a bit of fun learning about them. Unfortunately, now I'm hooked. Like you said, they are magnificent creatures, and I've now got my eyes on what I will get next.... Thank god my hubby is not on this site and is completely oblivious to my plans ;)

Welcome :) I think this has been the most informative site I've ever come across. Any question you have will be answered by knowledgeable snake owners, as well as personal experience tips and advice. I've really enjoyed all the help, I hope you do as well!
