Hi,
My name is Philippa and I am the proud owner of 5 corn snakes. I currently have 1 Oketee, 2 Snow, 1 Anerythristic Type B and 1 Amelanistic Het Butter. I am hoping to start breeding them once they are all fully grown. I am interested in any advice more experienced keepers can give me as I am just starting out and ready to learn all I can.

Welcome...this is definately the best place to come to learn all you need to know about ANYTHING corn related!

Welcome! You sound like me - I'm new to the hobby too, and I currently have 5 corns and intend to breed. This forum is a great source of info (not to mention fun). You may also want to pick up some books about corn snakes. Probably everyone on this forum would recommend Kathy Love's "Ultimate Guide." I've also enjoyed Don Soderberg's "Cornsnakes in Captivity."

hi
Thanks for all the lovely welcomes and looking forward to learning all I can. Caryl thanks for recommending Don Soderberg's book am in the midst of reading it now. I enjoyed Bill and Kathy love's Corn Snake Manual.

Hi Philippa, welcome to our world. If I were going to give you any advice I would just like to say that it is not a smooth motion like many people believe but more of a punching forward and back. Be sure to keep your wrist locked or you will snag the ground behind you...........no wait, that is fly fishing.
