Hello I'm Holly, I reside in Seattle WA. I'm a college student studying Criminal Law and I also have a 3 year old son, Enzo. Frankly I'm so new to the whole snake biz that I haven't even bought mine yet! I'm far too picky so right now I only have the tank set up.
Mostly why I'm introducing myself is I'm looking for the perfect Bloodred snake. I've talked to a few people and have found that Old School Bloodreds(that's my favorite color) hardly exist these days. I also like the Cayenne Fire(sp?) but it's not really in budget to drop hundreds of dollars on one. I know it's borderline impossible to look at a hatchling and determine what they will look like as adults BUT, if anyone does know of a breeder who breeds Bloodreds well, it would be so appreciated.
My ideal snake color(I'm no pro so excuse me while I don't know the specifics or correct terms,) is that deep blood red color(obviously lol) but I have seen some turn out to be more yellow or orange and that's not what I'm looking for. I've also seen some turn our to be a "dried blood" brownish color(I don't really like that either.) I just like the solid beautiful red. So if anyone knows someone who is breeding something like that and could point me in the direction for my first snake, that would be awesome.
Thank you so much!
