I'm new here, and new to corns but not to snakes. I went to the Rocky Mountain Expo intending to just look around. But with the fact that I had an empty 20 gallon (and 10 gallon) sitting at home all ready to be set up in the back of my mind. I was currently reptile-less, but envisioned coming home with a gecko, rather than a snake. But I guess I'm back to having feeders in the fridge.

From the looks of it by reading other post about the expo I might have run into a few of you! I saw most of your guys picks there, even considered getting a few of them! I found a cute little coral snow corn that I just couldn't do without. I snatched him up right before some one else bought out the rest of that vendor's stock. I got him home, and the first night he shed, revealing that he was even more beautiful than I thought.

Here's my cute little guy. I'm calling him Fintan. These are not the best pictures, I just snapped them real quick this morning before class.

I'm no corn expert, so tell me what you guys think of him. He's the most outgoing, relaxed snake I've ever met. Got him home and instead of hiding he cruised around his new home and came over to look at me when I peeked in at him.

Hi there and Welcome to the forum :D Beautiful little boy you have there. It's good that he is not scared, when they are scared they hide. Just remember to let him settle in for a few days before you hold or feed him. And just a word of caution corn snakes are ADDICTING, most of us on here couldn't stop at one lol

Thanks K. Rene, I think he's pretty handsome. I'm definitely leaving him alone, I put the horse(what he is hanging out on in this picture) in his tank and he climbed right on, which I then lifted out, snapped 5 pictures and let him crawl back in his tank. I dont want to stress him out, but I did want to have a record of how little he was when I got him. In hindsight I should have gotten one of him in his little cup.

You must have gotten him before I saw him. Do you remember the breeder?
I picked him up around 1, after dithering and being indecisive for the previous three hours! He came from Naked Snakes, they were the ones with the beautiful veiled chameleon that they were letting all the kids pet.

I remember him, it's great that he shed but he was all ready good looking before the shed. They have been at the show for several years and are good folks.
Congrats
John
