Hey everyone,

New to the forums and to the addiction! Finally brought home my baby amelanistic corn about 2 weeks ago after wanting one for YEARS. I'm 20 and just finally moved out of my snake-hating parents' house. Been in love with snakes ever since meeting Banana the 12-foot albino boa that I met when the reptile man came to my elementary school. No begging or pleading or even reasoning with my parents could convince them to even allow a snake anywhere near their house.

But all is well now as my baby is adorable and I've only begun the addiction! I've already posted on these forums in dire need of advice when my baby had a bad shed. You guys are SO helpful!

My main problem right now is I need supplies for my baby; like a thermostat, humidity gauge, and something to up the humidity in the tank, the cause of the bad shed. I live in Southern Maryland...literally the dead end of the western shore of Maryland and there's a pretty big lack of reptile supply stores! So my only option is to order online.

My question is: Those of you who do order your supplies online, what website do you use and trust? Also being a college student, I'm basically broke all the time ;) so I need a place that has decent prices as well. There is a place I can buy frozen mice so that's not a problem. I just need a place I can trust!

What do you guys suggest?
 
Bigapple Pet Supply, Reptile Basics somwhere like that. Just pick up an issue of Reptiles and browse through, you'll see all the big suppliers that can sell cheaper due to the volume they move compared to the little guys.
 
Hi, and welcome!!! I've ordered from a variety of places... LLL Reptile is quick and easy (www.lllreptile.com) and Big Apple Herpetological is good as well (www.bigappleherp.com). I trust these guys as they've been good to me without any issues.

There's an ad that happens on some of these CS.com pages for Reptile Supply Company (www.reptilesupply.com). I haven't dealt with them yet, so I couldn't say.

LLLReptile is quick and easy, but their packaging leaves a LOT to be desired. Not to mention, I've had bad experiences with animals from them before, so I tend shy away from all of their products. As far as other supplies, I go to a local shop that has great prices on darn near everything I could ever want/need.
