New owner from Florida

Purging is at hand
Oldsmar, Florida here. I first owned a baby Gray banded King but could not get it to eat so I traded for a baby Corn. Happy to be a member.:spinner:

Welcome to the forum and the addiction!
Lots of Florida members here - we like to get together at the local reptile shows and occasionally have bigger outings like the Serpentarium in St Cloud or Gator Land in Orlando!

I LOVE Gatorland and have been there several times:spinner:

Too bad about the gray band, they're nice. Welcome to the forums.

yes it was to bad He had an outstanding personality for a Hatchling but I simply could not get him to eat no matter what I tried including force feeding. Rather than watch him die I ate the 60 bucks and gave him away to an experienced gray band owner at my local Reptile Shop.

Let this be a lesson to other newbies...I purchased this snake at a show and had no idea they are so hard to feed and of course the breeder did not bother to tell me.

Alls well that ends well though he has a new home and I have a Corn who loves to EAT!

Welcome to the forum! It's too bad you had a non-feeder king, but it's cool that you passed it on to someone who may have better luck. Sometimes a change in home can get them going, oddly enough. I'm glad your new corn loves to eat. What does it lookd like? We love pictures, by the way!

Pics will be up tonight! (Update-Pics Up)
