This is a hypo that just popped up this year. I bred a crimson to a hypo and this came out.
We have nic named it the MATRIX

HYBRID!

Well, maybe not.

Very cool though, it would be nice to know if it were genetic. Do you have plans to prove that out?

I'd like to see one like that paired up with one of those grey hibirds with the high saddle count that Carol has. In a few years of course.

(of course I'm just teasing about the "hibird" part!)

Stunning pattern.
Is there a possibility that the egg was attacked by fungus?
I've seen 2 animals with strange patterns this year already and both came out of eggs attacked by fungus.

how many eggs came from that clutch? and the animal is albsolutly amazing cant wait to see it grown up

My first impression about their pattern, was that they resemble the Hypo Upper Keys Corns and especially the Anery “C” patterns that we are seeing, with perhaps some Aztec or Motley pattern added to the mix as well.

Ya, they do look similar to the keys stuff. I'd definitely pair up the same parents and try to make more, then when this one is grown up breed it to the parent. That should give it the three generations needed to show an inheritance pattern.

What's the belly pattern? And what do the siblings look like?

Disclaimer: Trevor is not suggesting, implying, or even remotely hinting at the idea that he thinks this is a hybrid, intergrade etc. He is just making a comment about the unusual pattern on this particular animal.

Trevor's non-suggestive comment goes as follows:"that pattern kinda looks like L. M. Thayeri."

I agree, it's very cool and does look a lot like what has been popping up in some of my Anery C's. I have yet to reproduce in a "non Anery C" animal though. I'm also curious about the lineage and what the belly looks like, is it mostly clear from checkers?
Here are some of his younger pics that show his pattern the best.

that snake is so freakin' awesome! :)
I'd SO love to have one of each of those (one anery-looking one and one hypo-looking one) and breed them together in a few years

Ohhh.. Ghost Scrambleds.. lol ok, so I'm not the best at making up new morph/pattern names... those are some nifty lookin snakes though... you two should think about getting together on this and seeing if it's compatible.. o_O or something to that effect, lol. Beautiful snakes! Oh, and anyone know how much those Anery C's are going for..?? I might need one next year ;)

more information on the matrix

I don't believe it is a hybrid.

One parent is a crimson from Serpenco.
The other parent is a hypo from Kathy Love.
SO I seriously doubt either parent has anything but cornsnake in it.

Yes, we are going to keep it, and see if it is a recessive trait.
