Here some pics of a few hatchlings of mine. The ultra-anery's are super light, I can't wait to see them as adults. All my ultra's are a deeper red than the pics, the flash washed them out a little. And the piebald is coming along nicely and feeding with no problems, so only time will tell if it's genetic or not.

the piebald looks strange, from the pics the area around the "pied" spot looks damaged. Is that caused by the piebald gene? it also looks thinner near the white as well. Anyways, those are really great looking snakes, and the color on the pied one looks like it will be such a brilliantly colored adult, congradulations.

Would love to take some pictures for you Ken.. I end up over in Castaic from time to time..

What were the breeding for the straight Ultra animals? Those are certainly eye openers..

Regards.. Tim of T and J

Tim, I appreciate the offer. The ultra's are from a male ultra to a female ghost het ultra. All my ultra's from that clutch and even other different pairings are a deep red. I'll try and getter pics, I didn't realize that shot (even after I Photoshop'ed it) came out with that half wash until I posted it. I'm going to be releasing some of my ultra's soon. They've had three meals so far, and I like them to have at least five before I sell my offspring. Let me know if you're interested I'm still looking for a male bloodred hypo and a few others for projects.

Yes the "piebald" is a little thinner around the white area. I have no idea if the piebald is genetic yet (at least a project of 3 years) so I can't say if it's because of the piebald appearing area, or if the piebald area is because of a birth defect? Time will tell and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Since she is a female it will take longer than if it were a male obviously. But she acts like a normal corn, no strange movements or anything to suggest a neurological disorder and she eats like a champ.
