Are you asking if you should have the heat cable go across the bottom of the tubs once, or if you should loop it so it goes by twice, therefore heating more area? If that's your question then I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you, as I've never built a snake rack before but I'm sure with some clarification someone else can help you!
