Hello and welcome. Agree with the above - looks like a normal (classic) corn snake. Here is a good thread that covers the basics such as suggested substrates, heating sources, etc. We personally recommend aspen for corn snakes - we use unprinted newspaper because we have so many in our rack systems (it is easier and cheaper on us).

Welcome from San Antonio as well! :D FYI, there's an expo next weekend at Live Oak Civic Center (NE side of town), if you enjoy looking at the herps as much as I do. :3
