New Snake Day: Nanci's Miami Baby N

So I got to pick up this little boy yesterday. I wanted to check on him right away since it was going to be at least a 25 minute drive back home from the FedEx center, so the guy at the counter (after I assured him nothing would "pop out") and I spent a good long time trying to carefully get through Nanci's super-secure packaging. And then the FedEx guy retreated to the other side of the room while I came face-to-face with this:

And a few quick shots after arriving home:

So far he is a saint compared to my baby Everglades ratsnake and even my butter motley at that age. I think he'll settle in nicely. :D

Adorable! I was really hoping my daughter's teacher would get one of these Miami's for her class.....so, I could enjoy it! LOL! Oh well. He certainly looks happy to be in his new home

I can't wait to get Baby O next week! I've been trying think of names. Several of mine are nameless because I don't know their sex. But I have some ideas for him, we'll just have to see what suits him :)

Thanks, all :)

He's been waiting impatiently and making "feed me!" eyes all the while, so it's no surprise our first feeding day went without a hitch. I tried to get more (in focus) photos, but he was too excited to sit still for anything more than this:
