new snake misconception

Here's a new snake misconception I've never heard before.

This whole week in LA is gonna be in the upper 90s and low 100s (35-38C), and I was complaining at work that I was having trouble keeping my snake's tank from overheating. So not one but TWO different people at work said that since snakes are cold-blooded, doesn't that mean their blood keeps them cold in hot weather?

Education these days.

Wow.... Never heard that one, and it makes me sad for our education system. Unfortunately, our public schools here have gotten rid of their science programs.

Does that mean since humans are warm blooded, that our blood will keep us warm in the winter? Why did I ever bother buying a coat, complete waste of cash. lol
