I just got my first corn but I dont know what type or sex it is. Can anyone help me out here?

Congrats on your first corn!
I'd say that is a Miami, and judging from the tail, it's a male. :) I'm no expert of course, but that's my opinion.
 
Ahum, I think even experts cannot see the sexe from the tail of such a young corn... and about the miami label... the saddles are indeed nice and red, but it has too much orange on the upper part of the body, at least to make it an obvious Miami phase... it is a very nice normal though!
