Ah, you must have gone to the Wilsonville show. I am so bummed I missed it (had class all day). Nice pick-ups. Who were they from? Was there a good selection of corns?

I got them from greasy creek corns, im not good with names lol. There were a lot less people this time, and less of a selection but i got these two.

NANCY! I <3 her she is so nice. I knew those were her's by the pics, beautiful babies :D The two I had I got from Nancy, she told us about the show. We got three more today, I will take pics when they settle in.

I took a couple before i put them away. I couldn't help myself. Its hard not to bother them when they are so pretty.

Thanks for the nice words. I'm glad you are enjoying your snakes Natsuo and Nichole. I can't wait to breed again this summer :)

Actually Portland is a bit too north for me. How is Corvallis and Eugene? Salem is also an option. I don't want anywhere that gets below zero in winter or anywhere that's reaaaally sparsely populated.

I live near Corvallis and love it. We have left and returned 3 times. I think we are convinced that this is the best place to live. The university brings in a nice diversity of people and the schools are great. It doesn't have all of the conveniences of a large city, but it has plenty and is only 1 1/2 hours from Portland and less than an hour from Eugene. People really love Eugene. It is the second largest city and has everything you could need. I don't know much about Salem. Anywhere in the Williamette Valley is great. You are an hour or so from the coast and an hour or so from skiing. Be prepared for LOTS of rain in the winter, but the best summers.

I love rain, which made me look at the Oregon/Washington area, but I don't care as much for snow, which steered me away from Washington. Is it buggy?

It is an extremely rare case if it goes bellow 0 degrees in any of the towns north of Medford on the I5 corridor. It rains more the futher north you go. I have yet to see a city in OR as crowded as some in Cali. Not sure what your asking with Buggy? like as in lots of insects? Cause I know places in the east have some huge bugs. We don't have many here per say. In the summer when it's warm there are mosquitoes. But not tons.

Ok good. I have relatives in Florida and I HATE going out in summer, so humid and SO many bugs... This sounds like the perfect place for me, then. When you say it doesn't have the same conveniences as a big city, what do you mean? Like, no chain stores on every corner, or something like the town my great grandpa lives in where there's like... one grocery store, no movie theatre, three restaurants, everythings closed on Sundays and after 5pm...

There are plenty of places in Corvallis OR, just not a Walmart cause I guess OSU didn't want one in the city (politics something or other) There isn't a mall either, but there is one in Salem and I would assume Eugene, idk about Albany. None of which are far away. IN some smaller towns for example Monmouth where my college is located, there is a BiMart, a bank, a few fast food restaurants and not much else. So you might not want to live there. As for humidity, not much of that either. In the summer tho we usually get wild fires and in the Rouge Vally (Medford) the smoke kinda sets, which makes the valley smell like smoke, but it goes away.
