This week had the first session of a new tattoo. This session we only did the linework and shades.

Can't wait to have my next session to see what it would look like when the Koi is of bright red color.

Btw, any LA ink and Miami Ink lovers out here? After seeing Miami Ink for a while we have now the LA ink on Discovery. I just love that show. Kat von D is a bit so so but the rest of the program is very cool. I just love seeing the tattoos of Kim and Hannah and Corey.

nice man. i have an appointment for the 1st. so im excited for more needle work. its been a while. and small tattoos are alright if its something thatll fit with bigger ones.

LOVE IT! WOW! It's going to be so beautiful! All my tattoos are on the smallish side and I regret it. They're beautiful tats but I just wish I had gone bigger. So instead I'm thinking of ways to incorporate the ones on my shoulder blades into one large back mural. I've got some ideas in my head on how I want it done. My next one will be either a corn or ball wrapped around my left wrist and up my forearm. Just gotta find the pictures I want and decide on a morph!

I have one tattoo. A small one on my deltoid of a horse head I drew made of swirls. I really was particular on who I was going to get to do it. I took a day and a list from the phone book and drove to all the tattoo shops in my immediate area. I wanted an artist who actually knew how to draw a horse, not someone who had been copying pics of one. I am SO HAPPY with the work I got done! Found out the shop I went with has an outstanding reputation! And I've gotten a lot of compliments on the artwork from other people.

I LOVE the history of tattoos. Have you ever see the Maori facial tattoos for the warriors??? AMAZING! And the Hawaiian tattoos are fantastic as well. The spirituality that goes into the tattoo is impressive. I would LOVE to get a traditional Hawaiian tattoo someday. And the Asian tattoos are friggin' works of art! They're tapestries on human skin they are so ornate.

I'd have more if I had more $$$ and more guts. ( Pain and needles scare me! ) I have a certain piece of artwork I'd like. I want to get a tattoo of a unicorn by a certain children's artist but it will be pretty involved and NOT CHEAP! ( I am extremely picky about my unicorns. They are NOT horses with horns stuck onto their heads! No cartoon unicorns in pink or blue for me! I like the medieval heraldic style. )

But I have to justify such an expense. $300.00 can buy a lot of hay!

Those two shows are the only "reality" shows that I watch, even got a Lav Mot with attitude named Kat Von D. Unfortunately neither show has aired here in the past couple months.

I've got a 30 year old small eagle that when people saw it would say, "that's nice, what is it?" So I've been through three lazer treatments, so far, to remove it and another one....talk about painful! Good thing it's a fast procedure.

I'll look forward to seeing the progression.

Nice

Looks like he does good work!
The marlin was cool to, my son wants to get one of a tuna!
How big was the marlin you caught?

Nice tattoo...... pain. What pain?

Hi Lex,

I am big wuzz I guess. LOL Actually it went quite OK. The tattoo on my back took 10 hours and that was really painfull. This Koi tattoo on my arm was not even near as painfull as the one on my back. The guy tattoeing me said that I hung in there quite good. He said not too much people can stand 5 hours coloring a small area like that. :dunce:

I have been fishing the Red sea in Egypt. I have caught many big fish including a 5 foot baracuda, sharks, yellow fin and blue fin tunas, Dolphin fishes and croupers (sp?). Unfortunatly no sailfish or marlins. LOL

Ya,

There are many people who like large tattoo but do not have the ability to withstand the pain levels that these body designs entail.

Tattoo can be pure works of art.

And then there's the 'also ran' type which embody the self inflicted tats :blowhead:

Hope to see the finished product when we come over in October?

Kind regards. Lex
