New Thread for a New Snake!!

Two Corns and Growing!
Hey all, my new corn snake I ordered from Susan just came in! She's just a baby, she hatched on 4-18-09, also I got her on that right out of the egg discount, if I were you I'd go check it out I think she still has two amel het motleys for sale and a few caramel(I think) het motleys for sale, they're really cheap and good quality. But anyways back to my new and only addition now(after Diabla escaped), I can't think of a name for her yet, feel free to suggest any, I'll be posting Susan's pic of her on here so you can see what she looks like. I also plan to do a Progression Thread for her after a find a name for her and once she eats, which will be in about 4 to 5 days.
A little about her in the few hours I've had her, shes already came out and explored, thats a good sign, I hope shes adventurous, I haven't really had her long enough to tell about her temperament, but so far shes twitchty and nervous, I would be too if I had to suffer such a long trip from Florida(a nice humid place) to New Mexico(A hot, hellish wasteland of a desert). But I can't wait till I can handle her, I don't think I'm going to be able to contain myself from going in there every five minutes lol. But I think that's all for now I'll post if anything new happens.
O ya here are the pics:

Also if you go to the first page in the links you can see the amels she has for sale, the caramels are in a similarly labeled post should be 2009 hatchlings- caramel het motley.

She's just precious! Now let her settle in for a week without bugging her! If I could do it with Mango, you can do it, too!

Lol thanks guys. Ive been managing not to go in there lol, but when do you think I can feed her on her chart it says she eats every 4 days, so should I wait a week before feeding her too or what?

My recommendation is wait a week, feed, wait two or three days, then handle. Snakes can associate the stress of shipping with a feeding and refuse to feed. It's best to let her settle in, totally forget her stressful trip, get to know her new home, feed her. It's most important to establish her as a good feeder before handling her. You'll have 20 years for that!

Hey Nanci I didn't know if you saw in the Did you know thread. But it appears that my little bugger's father is your favorite snake of Susan's, Alamo. I'm so excited about that :)

Well I'm going to kinda sorta turn this little section into part of a progression thread. I know that I shouldn't hold them the first night but I couldn't resist, I figured, Hey might as well get a weight on her now than never. Feel free to scold me if you wish lol. But anyways from what I can tell so far is, one. she was a little jumpy at first but quickly calmed down, two. she weighs 7 grams, 3. I think she is going to be a really good handler in the future( might use her to introduce to my possible step-mother, yes shes afraid of snakes go figure right) and lastly 4. I can't stop myself from checking in there at least three times an hour just to make she didn't escape and that every thing is fine, I guess you can say I'm a little paranoid after what happened to my, still not found, Diabla. But that's all I have for now, If any one can think of some possible common names for her that would be wonderful.
Chao!
