Hello, My name is Jenn, I recently purchased a corn snake for me and my ten year old daughter. He's about a year old, came via fedex from a private breeder, we named him Michael. He seems very spunky and has fed once on a pinky. I'm really trying my best to do everything right so he'll thrive.

I am new, as well, and your baby is CUTE!
I just had to ask, did your daughter ask for the snake? Just curious, as I was one of the only kids that wanted a snake at that age, much less the only girl!
She is blessed to have you!
My mommy likes snakes, but didn't like the thought of one living under her roof, so 'mine' lives with my boyfriend, and comes and visits and my mom hogs her!
 
Kate, yes my daughter did ask for the snake. At first I was hesitant but once I started shopping around I got really excited and wanted one too lol

I agree, welcome to the site and the addiction...there are some really great people on here with tons of knowledge to help you out along the way.
