i have 2 corn snakes one is a reg and one is a ghost the reg is about 11" and the ghost is about a foot and a half now my friend wants to give me a baby pueblan milksnake im wondering if i can put the baby milksnake in the same tank as the baby corn or if i can put the baby corn w/ the bigger corn

Welcome.

No, you should keep them all in separate cages. Glad you asked before you did anything.

Nice to meet you.

Do a search on cohabitation and cannibalism. That should give you an idea as to why you shouldn't. Good luck with your guys and welcome to the forum.

ohh ok thank u so much...im short on money and cages so can i just split one of my 20 gall tanks for now???

If your spliting the cages, you should be very carfull, they can squeeze through soemtimes, but NEVER cohab them! Exspecialy a milk and corn...bad situation! I have pics if you want to see what happens!

A milk will definitely kill a corn if housed together. 2 corns MAY kill each other(or one or the other).

Best rule of thumb is one snake per enclosure.

If you DO decide to split a 20 gallon tank, you need to make absolutely certain that there is NO WAY for one snake to get into the other side. If there is even a remote chance that they could get through...they will.

if you do split it, try not to use tape. Snakes have a habbit of nosing at it and getting stuck, from what I've read.

And it sucks getting them unstuck.

But hey, congrats on the new snake! Free even, I wish I had friends who wanted to give their snakes : )
