Manny & Regina
hello everyone. we're manny and regina and we're new to corns. we started off with two that we picked up at petco, and now we're down to one after one of them refused to eat after 6 weeks. (dont worry, we returned it) we're still learning as we go, but from what we have gathered from pictures, talking to other corn owners, and lots of guessing and scratching our heads, we have a female snow. corns have become a pretty big passion of ours now. we would love to breed them one day, but we want to make sure that we can absorb as much knowledge as we can before we dive into that.

anyway, we're just hoping that we found a pretty easy going forum that we can ask questions and get to meet new people in. we'll post up some pictures as soon as we can. thanx

by the way, at the bottom of some of the posts we've seen, there are some numbers next to the breeds, can someone explain this? if i am guessing right, and i am purely guessing here, does that have to do with them being male or female and how many there are? i hope i dont sound like too much of an ameture here. anyway, its nice to meet everyone. thanx:spinner:

Welcome!

And yes the numbers mean how many and what sex of an animal you have. For example if you look at my signature I have 2.1.0 corn snakes so I have 2 males and 1 female and 0 unsexed.

Hi,Manny and Regina, welcome.
Yes you did find a place like that, pretty easy going, answers questions.
Almost everything you need to know is here, if you can't find it ask. There are stickys at the top of each forum to start with.

Hey and welcome, Manny & Regina :).

Sometimes you'll see the numbers written like 0.1.0, and sometimes you'll just see them like 0.1. This means the same thing. So in your case, as you have 1 female snow, you can either write it out like 0.1.0 or 0.1. In my case, I have one male snow, so I can write it like 1.0.0 or 1.0. This is one of the best forums out there when it comes to friendliness and info. Hope y'all enjoy it :).

thanks for explaining that. it's pretty nice knowing that we found a good forum with great people.
