Hi,
My name is Robby and I have been a snake lover for a long time. I have lived in the country almost all my life. My dad taught me how to catch and hold snakes when I was very young. unfortunately, my mother did not approve of this and I was never allowed to keep any snakes or to buy them as pets. I just realized last year that I have a house, wife, and child of my own so I really dont need my mom's permission anymore. So I hopped in the car and sped to the local Petco. I bought a nice little corn snake that my students named Kernal Sanders (Kernal like a kernal of corn. Get it? )He's a good snake but he does get a bit snippy at times. I am a full time teacher, coach, father, and college student (working on a second degree) so I probably just dont get him out enough. Anyways, I really enjoy snakes and most any reptile. I have always been fascinated by them. This site is just waht I was looking for so hopefully I will be posting here often. Thanks for listening.

welcome mate i was in the exact same boat as you lol

my mum wouldnt let me either since i moved out its my time for snakeys :D

Welcome to the site. :) And congrats on your new pet. I have two of my own, and almost couldn't bring them with me when I moved to WV for similar reasons. So many people are just uncomfortable with the idea of being around snakes.

Hello & welcome. Make sure to visit the photos forum, there are lots of great pictures there !! Also the cultivars / genetic issues forum - cornsnake genetics are wonderfully fun :grin01:

Here is a link to the cornsnake genetic predictor many of us use here.
