newbie idiot

Hi all, got a pair of normals just a few months ago. Older proven pair from Mr. Fung. She second clutched yesterday, and gave me 6 eggs. One is questionable, indented too much, methinks. The others look viable. All opaque, dry 1.75 " long, (they're very oblong), and generally looking good. I couldn't be happier. What a thrill. I only mention it to you guys cause, by God, WHO else would care? LOL! Wish me luck!

1.1 normal

Thanks for the words of encouragement. This morning she laid another egg, a full 48 hrs. plus past her last egg. Is that normal? Anyway, it's a huge egg, almost 2 inches long and full. However, it is clearish yellow on the bottom where it sat in the substrate. I had thought she was finished, so I removed the nesting box. It's not indented, and is solid, dry and opaque on the top 85%, any thoughts out there? Thanks again and much appreciating.

I got 2 snakes from Simon in July and the 2 females were suppose to have had double clutched already.... and well I have 7 eggs today.... Now I have no clue what to do but hopefully the 4 that look good will make it. Good Luck!!

Hey, BB, good luck with the eggs.
I'm totally novice with this, too. I didn't try to produce any eggs on purpose. They were together not more than 15 minutes as I cleaned their cages. 2 full months later out popped 6 eggs. 2 days later out came another. 2 days later another. 2 days later another. 1 day later, while she was in total blue, another. She ate a meal after the first six, too.
2 were no good. The other 8, though, are beauties so far.

Seems that that there are not so many hard and fast "givens" with these guys when it comes to reproduction. Only good and bad luck, I suppose- but I'm too new to know. Nonetheless, it sure is fun!
