I recently moved my corn up to weanlings. But ever since then he has been strangely aggressive on feeding day. He will try to eat my finger when i take him out for feeding. its almost like he knows that its feeding day. Do you think this means that weanlings arent big enough for him? I am currently using the munson plan. he is 166 grams eating 14-17 gram weanlings weekly.

I used to have an adult ball python and at the moment he smelled the rat he shot up to the top of his tank directly up with his body completely zig zagged and ferociously bit the tank so you just had to quickly lift the lid drop the rat and RUN!!!

Do you get his mouse ready before moving him to his feeding bin? If so he may be smelling his dinner on your hands. Wash your hands really well and see if that helps.

The other things you could try would be to get him out with a hook or put him in his feeding bin first and then get his mouse ready.

I had the same problem and realized that I had to move him to his feeding encloser prior to getting the mouse for him.

we have a few that have been the same since hatching out. We have quite a few so defrost A LOT of food at same time. The few that need it get moved before I even go to freezer now. Have found it works for them but have one that still gets over zealous and have to hook him out. I leave him in his feeding bin over night too as he just don't stop whilst food is on his mind it seems. the night after he's absolutely fine, one of our tamer snakes apart from the 24/36 hours during feeding
