Normal for shedding?

I never really took too much notice to it, but I was bored so I remembered about it and thought I'd ask..
Whenever my amel goes into shed, she goes dull, and her eyes go slightly blue, not as much as most(Althought im pretty sure thats just cause of the red eyes). But a couple or so days before she sheds she'll look normal.. Then I look in her cage after those couple of days and theres her shed! She seems like she's shedding perfectly fine, all in one piece, etc.. Im just wondering if her looking normal a couple of days before is normal?
