normal+hypo=?

is it possible to tell if ur snakes het?

For the most part not until you breed it and see the resulting babies. Hypos are known to be het Anery, Sunkisses are known to be het for Charcoal... can't remember what is the Cinder version is off the top of my head... dang..

If you buy from a bigger breeder, they may be able to tell you based on the parents and what they have produced together in the past.

Just curious where you heard/read this?

It was on here and recently, although don't remember if it was last week or the week before. The poster listed the three A, B and C with the hypo types that went along with them.

I have a Hypo het anery, personally.

Here is the thread where it was mentioned... did I misunderstand?
Yep, he was listing the Hypo Types ABC. You're confusing it with the Anery Types ABC. Two different sets of genotypes. All different sets of alleles!

Hypo A = Hypo
Hypo B = Sunkissed
Hypo C = Lava
Hypo D = Ultra? Christmas? etc.

Anery A = Anery
Anery B = Charcoal
Anery C= Z/Ashy
Anery D = Lavender? Caramel? etc.

All completely different alleles/genotypes.

PS. For the OP . . . Normal X Hypo = Normals het Hypo

Thanks for clearing that up :) I know my guy is Hypo het anery, but that's from his ghost parent and not just from the fact that he's a hypo?

Correct. The ghost parent would be Anery and Hypo together. Your snake got the Hypo from both parents and the (het)Anery from the Ghost parent.
