Normal?

Today i decided to feed my snake out of his normal feeding container and in his cage(I have newspaper substrafe, so it shouldn't be a big deal right?) And he proceeded to PICK UP the mouse with his mouth and carry him over to one of his hides and eat him there.

I know it's not really a concern but i found it kinda cute.
Anyone else's snakes do this?

I wouldn't think so. I don't feed in viv, but have couple snakes that will drag their food all over the feeding tub before they eat it.

Mine do tend to drag the food all over the feeding tub on occasion. My bubblegum loves to hang out in his crystal light tube hide. Usually I take the tube out, and put it in the tub. When I stick the mouse near the opening, he grabs it and drags it back into the hide.
