Had my baby corn snake for about 2 weeks, not seen her drink yet, this normal? i also tried dipping the tip of her head into her bowl, as reccommened elsewere, which still didnt work. any suggestions and help always apriciated!! thanks
Ian

That is normal Ian.

Make sure you keep fresh water in her dish and keep the dish in the same place and she will drink. Most likely she does it at night while she is roaming around.

You being the biggest, scariest potential predator around then it will probably wait till you NOT around to go for a drink, usually the middle of the night, don't worry it'll find the bowl itself. And he'll be more confident as he gets used to you, grows and matures.

My corn always drinks after its eaten, so maybe try giving it fresh water when you feed it and wait to see if it goes for a drink straight after? Might work ;) If you want to watch it for definate

Anyways don't worry about it, if you still are worried, then place your water bowl next to the perimeter/edge of your vivarium as this is where most corns trawl/cruise their viv's

nocturnal

corns are nocturnal so it most like is getting plenty of water while you are sleeping i was the same way as you when i got mine so i actually stayed up all night just to see what i heard was right and sure enough he came out and drank...

Generally the only time I see my snakes drink is right after I've fed them.. I guess using their mouth muscles makes them thirsty..

I'm fully confident that they drink when I'm not looking. Guess that means it's time for AA meetings..

Yep, like everyone else said.
Keep the water fresh.
Put the water bowl along the edge of the cage is helpful, as they cruise the perimeter of their cage at night they can't help but find it...(credit to Don Soderberg:)).

I have 3 human kids, and the only time I saw our adult corn drink was when I was in our son's room in the middle of the night when he was sick or had a bad dream...or once he did drink right after eating...

Are you concerend about how your little one looks or is acting?

Mine loooooves baths, and will continue to go back in to it if i try to take it out... but the first thing he does and the last thing he does is drinks a huuuuuge amount of water.

I've never seen him drink otherwise, though.
Its cute to watch him drink. He looks like a scaley little chipmunk. My uro doesn't, so i always get a kick out of snakey doing it.
