River Valley Reptiles
My new husband and I are in Hawaii for our honeymoon. While having coffee in Kona, this little guy decided to join us on the little clay artwork on the deck...

He was drinking the rainwater caught in the cup. It was adorable.

I have a short video that I'll post once we're back home. Gold dust day geckos are by no means indigenous to Hawaii, but they've made themselves a nice little niche here eating the native gecko population (among other things), and apparently loitering at coffee shops. I think they're cute regardless, but then again I'm just a tourist.

did he try to sell you insurance?

Just kidding. :p

I wish we had more reptiles out here, that is a really neat experience. And I LOVE the picture of him drinking from the little tea cup :)

that is so cool..... sitting there, relaxing, and all of a sudden mr gecko comes for the perfect picture....

ha ha cute! That is one civilized lizard. I'm going to use this as an example for the next time my lot misbehave. :)

...and here's the video. You can see another one creeping in on the post in the background. There was also a smaller one on the lamp next to this one. They're pretty abundant.

Aw that was so cute they are awesome and it seems like it is not that afraid of anyone getting a little close. ;)
