Medusa hasn't finished shedding for a long time and she hates water and the humidity gauge sez 50% and the water thing doesn't work. So should I feed her?

When my corm snake has a dry shed,I will hold him and let him move through a warm wash cloth.Usually after about 5 min the shed will slide right off as he goes through the cloth.. I never attempt to pull the shed in anyway. It saves him from rubbing all over the place for days .Once its off,hes a happy camper again .
