Wilder
Y HALO THAR
Yes, I'm awful. I've had these guys for a bit now, but never got any decent pics to post of them. This situation has now changed.
First we have Elros, a male normal het sunkissed, hypo, and charcoal from Cedar Creek Corns (thanks, Chuck and Connie!):
In keeping with the Tolkien theme, I chose the name Elros for this guy because everyone seems to be naming their snakes Elrond and I wanted to be different. Elros is Elrond's brother.
Next is Aeglos, a male blizzard from Dakota Corns (thanks, Brent!):
Aeglos means "Snowthorn" in Tolkien's elvish language. It was their name for a type of white flower that grew on the hills there long ago. Okay, maybe flowers aren't terribly manly, but the name Aeglos sure is... and it seemed to be the perfect name for a white snake.
And finally, we have little Rumil, a male bloodred who also comes from Dakota Corns (thanks again, Brent!):
In Lord of the Rings, Rumil is one of the guardians of Lothlorien that the fellowship encounters on their way through the woods. His brother Haldir is far more popular thanks to the movies, but that's not why I chose the name Rumil for this snake. "Haldir" had already been reserved for the male Okeetee I'm getting soon.
There. Now that they have been adequately represented, I don't have to feel so bad.
