Note for everyone who listened to me whine about my electric bill!

Okay~ for the last several months a lot of you have listened to me whine about my electric bill~ several times! Who would not whine~ I don't feel like I use all that much electricity and my last two bills where $800 in July and $1010 in August! Of course I was whining~ it's JUST A HOUSE and I was running my AC way higher than the energy savers even recommend (82F downstairs and 84F upstairs)~

So last month I went through and tried to find anything I could cut out. There was not much~ as I was already being pretty frugal with the AC and I don't have an electric water heater or clothes dryer......

You know what it was?
That STUPID $#$%^%$ %$#$%$ $$$$$ HOT TUB!
I drained it and cut off all the electricity to it. Thats pretty much the only change I made. We did run the AC a bit less last month as it was not as hot all month~ but we still ran it at least as much as we did in June when my bill was $550~ The only real change was disabling that $$$$ $%#@#$!!! HOT TUB~

This months bill is $276. I never thought I'd be so ecstatic to get such a hight electric bill~ but considering I was expecting it to be around $600 to $700 even after disabling the hot tub~ I'm just as happy as I can get. I DID run the AC last month~ both units upstairs and downstairs and this is the lowest bill I've gotten in WELL OVER A YEAR! Even my bill in the dead of Winter last Feb was $350!

Just had to tell everyone.
Never~ EVER~ EVER!!!!! BUY A HOT TUB! THAT THING HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE FROM THE DAY I SIGNED THE PAPERWORK AGREEING TO PURCHASE IT!!!!!!!!!

So I take it we won't be seeing this at your house anymore? ;)

regards,
jazz
