NOVA reptile expo (feb 19th)???

stefmc24

officially addicted
has anyone ever been to this expo??

i'm really excited because this will be my first reptile show. i'm just wondering what to expect. i know i'm going to be leaving my debit card at home seeing as how the website advertises "ATM ON SITE". danger!!

Is that a virginia ahow? If so check back and let us know if the were selling corns there. I dont know if it is illegal to sell them in Va. or that you just need a pemit to sell corns.

yes, it's the northern virginia reptile expo.

i'm sure it's not illegal to sell them because all the pet stores here do. i'll let you know though!

Stef, I wish I was closer, I'd love to go! I'm actually not all THAT far, (on the VA border in NC). It's not illegal to sell corns in VA, I bought a florescent orange corn from Rich there a few years ago at the Richmond show.

hey jtgoff69, how is the richmond show? i live up here in northern va, about 2.5 hours from richmond. but, i have family down there so i visit quite a bit. do you have any idea when the next one is? the only info i found for shows in va was the nova one. although i'm not opposed to traveling to other states (md, va, pa, nc...).

The Richmond show is pretty small, and for the life of me I can't find any info on it either, though it should be coming up soon. I'll look for my last copy of Reptiles magazine to see if I can find it.
The best show for you to come to would be the one in Raleigh, NC in May. Kathy Love will be there she said, I don't know about Rich yet. You usually will have some of the bigger breeders there, Alex Hue, Ben Seigel, etc. And they always have a f/t vendor or two there so I stock up on mice while I'm there.

thanks for the info JTGoff69! i'd definitely like to make it down to raleigh...would be a nice road trip!!
