There is always a first for everything! I just checked on one of my clutches and about half had shed. I noticed out the corner of my eye one of the hatchlings that had not shed, it had some kind of growth under the shed. I got a closer look to discover it had pooped inside it's shed. The poop is inbetween the unshed skin and the snake. I know it is harmful to remove the shed prematurely, but I also expect it to be harmful to have fresh skin trapped with poo. Hopefully it will shed tonight. Otherwise maybe I should just puncture the shed at that location?

thats what i'd do. remove the skin you can from the infested area and maybe put him in a warm bath to clean the area after.
