O. p. laticinctus (Asian Rat snakes)

VERY beautiful!!! Now I gotta do some research on them just to see what the "stats" are on these guys... Not that I'm interested in getting any, but just to "learn" something new! :)
Congrats on your new babies!

I've always thought those guys were beautiful (the species), and yours are no exception. Congratulations!

How hard are they to keep, and do they make good pets (do they tolerate being handled well)?

WOWZER!!! Those are some GORGEOUS snakes! Is that what they typically look like or are those a morph?

Talking to the breeder and others that keep them, keeping them is fairly easy except that they don't tolerate temps over 80, so you must keep them in places like basements.

Being young, they are exactly like corn snakes in that they of course want to get away, but no attempts at biting. I suspect the adults are the same in that they will settle down once you handle them more.

This is what they look like as young ones. Adults lose the orange and are all red, at least from when I google this.

I'll be taking lots of pics as they age!

Gotta love the Lats! We have them at work and they are just amazing animals, although I am partial to coxi!
