odd rubbing?

hey guys, i just had a quick question. i just fed kensei a pinky and i noticed something odd that he was doing. after taking the pinky down, he started to rub his head up and down his body... almost as if he were massaging himself. has anyone ever seen this behavior in a corn and if so, what does it mean?

He's probably just realigning his jaw.

Yeah sound to me like he is realigning is jaw. Totaly fine so dont panic. just keep an eye on it and see if continues to do it.

oh ok, he has stopped it now so it must have been that. i just wasn't sure b/c i had never seen it before. thanks

one more question. he has two hides (one on cold and one on warm ends) as well as a decorative tree in his tank. the temps are ok ranging from 77-83. of all the places to hide after his meal, he has decided to hide up in his TREE. i'm not overly concerned as he is in fact hiding, but is my snake just weird? i have attached a picture so you guys can see...

Its fine. Some snakes just like to chill in weird and wonderful places.

My hatchling is the same way with his tree haha I keep telling him he isn't a tree snake but he keeps pretending to be haha.

haha ok... maybe he'll become normal when he gets too big for the tree.
