Odd Snake Escape Question

well i have had all of those and in my experience corns, kings, and milks are better at escaping than balls. i guess cuz there are more active. bps are just happy to hide under a log all day atleast everyone that i had/have has been that way. and in my experience kings and milks are better at escaping than corns.

If a snake is going to get out, it's going to get out.

Ball Python's are "fatter" and generally move less, so I would say they would escape less.

The others are all colubrids and to some level the threat of them escaping is the same. Don't underestimate your snake. I've had two snakes escape on me before I replaced the tank with an Exo Terra one.

Balls are at least a little less active, I think. We had one experience with mine, back when she was about a year old, where she got out of her tank, while we weren't home, and ranged exactly two feet away, to a pillow that had fallen on the rug, and curled up under it. I had textbooks stacked on top of her new tank, thinking that would be good enough till I got some tank clips...turns out, it wasn't. Not saying that this is a typical experience, but it does speak of a ball's er, lazier qualities. My sweet fat pet rock.

If you leave a large enough hole, and one of those will be out and gone in short order.....
