Officially an escapee

Yvette

I am Yvette.
This morning I woke up around 4 and my snake was in its tank drinking water. I went back to sleep, two hours later I wake up. My snake was gone. I immediately put a towel under my door so my snake can't leave the room while I'm searching for it. I look in my drawers, behind my furniture, under my bed, in my closet, and then I even checked the pockets in all my shorts and pants. I destroyed my room and he was gone...I put tape along my walls and sprinkled four on my floor. No signs of him.
A few minutes ago I went to the kitchen to get some water and he was right there, in the middle of the kitchen floor. Staring at me. I read that snakes who escape will be found in the room they live in, or the next room...but not across the house!

Someone here lost a snake and they found it outside next to their pond... I guess the snakes haven't heard the "same room or the next" rule! Maybe he's trying to tell you "I'm hungry, Mom!", but I'm glad you found him so quickly!

It seems like a miracle that I found him. He had full access to the garage or the back door. I'm sure that if I went just five minutes later he would have been gone.
