I am thinking of getting a new female soon. I cant decide between Okeetee or Ghost. What does everyone else think?

I would say Okeetee, but I think there is far nicer morphs around. I am also a fan of the wildtype. Amber is beautiful etc etc. How about getting both......?

Acradon

Just the one for now I think as I would like to breed it to my very randy male next year as he is not satisfied with just one female this year! Also I cannot afford 2 new set ups at the moment. I will probably end up with both in the end but not this year :( My male is anery.

If you got a Ghost and bred it to your Anery male you'd get Anery's het for Hypo (unless the are any hidden traits they are both het for).

Dand, i got them both as adults so I havent got a clue what they are het for. When I got them I didnt even plan to breed so I didnt think to ask. My female is gravid at the moment to my male so i havent got a clue what the little hatchlings will look like. She is amel he is anery. I have been told snows are possible but also told it depends what their parents are. Im not really up on the genetics thing but any info would be great.

Thats the fun part of breeding corns. You could end up with something totally unexpected. To get snows from your pair the male would have to be het for Amel and the female het for Anery. If the adults are just what the appear the offspring would be normals het for snow.

I would love a normal. It is her first clutch so im not expecting many eggs but I am planning to keep one or two to maybe breed from in a couple of years.

Okay, I'm biased!

but no morph is prettier to me than Mr. Rhett Butler

Of course the snake is nice, but I'll ask the question that is on everyone's mind....

Hey Chip, is that shirt part of your "Don Ho" collection?? Were you watching a Hawaii 5-0 marathon on Nick at Nite??

ALOHA.....:roflmao:

HAHAHAHA....that made my early afternoon.

I would go with the Ghost if you are planning on breeding it with an Anery...

While Okeetee's are BEAUTIFUL...why get one and not keep the locale line going...

Whoa gnarly shirt. Surf's up dude!

Ever since the Don Ho reference...I have had "Tiny Bubbles" playing over and over in my head...thanks a LOT... :blowhead:

that was cute CAV. In the next pic, we see Chip's Nightrider replica, while "cheesburger in paradise" blares from the radio. :roflmao:

Thats is an awesome snake, and I also have a biased opinion. I would go for an okeetee before a ghost any day.

"Fankly Scarlette, I dont give a damn."

Elrojo, I love that snake!!! What a beauty.

I think I may go for the Okeetee, i really love them. I know I will end up with both in the end no doubt! I just need to save up for some new vivs! Anyway my mind is not made up totally so some pictures of ghosts would be nice! Im going to do a search for some on here now and maybe that will help me decide. We are pretty close on the voting but the Okeetee looks like its racing ahead!

Here's a few...
