OLD SCHOOL Bloodred hatchling?

Kate

I Love Herps!
My boyfriend is in love with the OLD SCHOOL bloodreds.
The darker and more pattern-less they would be as an adult, the better. We'd prefer seeing pictures of the sire and dam.
We'd like to get it as a hatchling, and apart from the typical hatchling nippiness, we'd like it to grow into a wonderfully handle-able adult.

Shipping is an option, and we will be at the NARBC show in Arlington, TX.
There's also a show in Katy TX that we heard about but I cannot find any details about?

Thank you very much! I don't know WHY he has to go gaga over an 'obsolete' morph!

I wouldn't call it obsolete! I have a gorgeous Old School Bloodred here on loan (Buzztail) and will be breeding her next year. (Going for Tessera Bloods!!) Good luck in your search.

Here- let me torture you! (I've tried to buy this snake a bunch of times; she isn't for sale).

Wow, she is gorgeous!
So no one knows someone currently breeding good old plain bloodreds?
The morph does so many cool things with other morphs, I am having a heck of a time finding any plain bloodreds.

I'm breeding a very dark red female bloodred to a hypo pied sided bloodred! She hasn't laid eggs yet, but when she does, would you like me to PM you?

(let me see if i can get the picture to work...) This is her when she was a baby

I would LOVE a pm! could you post pics of mom and dad if it isn't too much trouble! she was already SOOO dark as a baby *swoon*

I hatched a clutch of very dark P/S Bloods this weekend. They are in shed right now so pics are a waste of time. The parent are dark well diffused P/S. If you are still looking in a weeks time, Ping me and I'll take photos for you.

Terri

Sorry for the wait! I took this picture of her 2 days ago. If I can go outside, I can probably get some better pictures of her color, but this is about right. Sometimes right after shedding shes super dark, but not quite as much as when she was a baby. I wish she was still that dark. But still, she was the darkest bloodred I've ever seen in person, and I just HAD to have her!

And here are a couple pictures of the dad. These were taken about a week ago. I didn't take pics of mom this same day b/c i want to let her rest while gravid.

Sorry that I'm not very great with photography. heh n__n;

ANYWAY! I'll just PM you when the eggs are laid (if i get any healthy ones!) and when they hatch. Half the babies will be hypos, so they definitely won't be very dark. And I have no way of predicting if any regular bloodred babies will be super dark or not. I'm hoping they are though!!

However, if you do find anyone else selling super dark bloodreds, let me know also! So I can find a really really dark male to get even darker red babies into super dark adults! :D

Do you mean like this girl? (This is my definition of "Old School")
She's going to a friend in NC, who has a male to pair her with. If you don't find anything this year, watch for babies down the road.

She's going to my friend Autumn (BloodyBaroness). I originally intended on working on the Old School Bloodred project myself, but I decided to narrow down my projects. I'm excited that one of my friends will be carrying on that project. :)

OMG Lyion, HOW did you find that first link?! You are my HERO!!!!
I'll be talking to Bloody Baroness!
