Omg the Bronx zoo has a corn snake on display

Sadly it was in a dark room with lots of wall tanks. It was in one with 2 other types of snakes. It was a normal.

I've been to the Bronx Zoo a few times but NOT ONCE while I lived only blocks from it in the late 90's (November of 1997 to March of 1999, to be exact). Their reptile exhibits along with those at the Staten Island Zoo (where one of my Boas was taken back in the late 1970's because a nosey neighbor reported me for having one over 6' long!) are some of the largest anywhere in the states (please correct me if I read that wrong!). However, at the time I was working full-time and finishing my master's in the evening, year-round except for 3 weeks during the month of August, at which time I was usually away!).

I guess it's time as a native New Yorker to get out and smell the roses before I completely circle the drain!!! (Haven't been to the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty since high school either!! And on Tuesday afternoons-evening, I literally walk by the latter on my way to the subway after work!!)

I know what you mean Axis! That's why I'm having a stay-cation this year. I'm going to staten island aquarium wed or Thursday next.
