Opal stripe?

I had always thought this guy was a opal stripe, but now I'm not sure. Is he a opal stripe, bubblegum snow stripe or what?

The yellow along the neck lines are a strong indicator of anery, what did you buy it as?

How old is he? I have an adult male opal stripe. He is a solid, very, very pale peach. If you search for Mango or Mingo you can find lots of pics of my opal stripes.

It's hard to say since he comes from petsmart, but he's probably around 18 months or so.

Honestly, to me.. he looks like snow stripe.

He's just so pink though. All the ones I have seen are white, unless he's a bubblegum snow stripe?

Only test breeding will tell, but I think, in general, the stripe gene causes the colors to look a bit different. My guess still remains snow stripe.

Yea, I plan on breeding him, so I guess I will find out then.

can't tell for sure just looking, if you really want ot know test breeding is the only way.

I agree.
Although a breeding trial would be the best bet, for confirmation (either way), it looks, to me, like a Snow Stripe (based on this photo).

My guess is snow, they have such a range of color as a morph in general. But as everyone has said a test breeding would be conclusive. Good luck with it.

Here's a few more pics if they help. The first one is when I got him back in January of 2011. The yellow on him in the first one is betadine (he had scale rot). The other 2 are more current (same day as the one in the original post)
