Open sided hides

Krazy About Snakes
I have an open sided hide on the warm side of my viv and my snaked seems to like going in there. I like it because I can see her most of the time. I try to keep that end of the cage covered with a black cloth, but I was wondering if the openness of that side could be causing her stress. She seems fine but then again I am not an expert on reptile stress.

Thanks,

Robert

It depends on the snake and if its a high traffic area, etc. I open the curtain in my room, which is behind my adult corn's tank. He likes to look outside at the tree that is right there. I almost feel bad for him, but he seems to like it. :shrugs:
