Ok I need to decide by tomorrow guys! should I get an amel motley or anery motley? I really like how the anery motley is like a nice dark black when its younger, but it seems to fade to grey as it ages. The amel motley also looks nicer when its young, but not as cool as the contrasting black and grey on the anery. however the amel seems to retain its pattern better as an adult. any opinions?

I don't like that many aneries tend to get yellow down their sides as they age. That's just me. Also, I wouldn't be so worried about amel vs anery, but more about the motley pattern. Whichever colour has the best pattern is the one I'd pick out.

I'm not really a fan of amel although I have a sunglow mot who is beautiful. We have an anery who's father still has very contrasting colors but neither are motley, I think with anery mots they have less really black pigment so when they get older they aren't as impressive. It's really up to you. Like dio said above I would pic whichevers motley pattern is the most unique :D course I am a sucker for cool patterns too

Amel Motley! I liked the coloration of the darker ones, like the aneries, but I also love that sunny orange and red of the amel motley. He comes in tuesday afternoon, can't wait! either naming him Helios after the sun god, or Dante, after the poet/narrator of the Divine Comedy which of course featured Dante's Inferno. Inferno could definitely describe the amel motley's coloration!
