Orchid - '09 Super Snow Tremper Leopard Gecko

AshleyShadows

It piss me so bad.
Well we went to an expo in Austin today, and of course I only intended to buy 1000 animals (crickets). Except I suck at doing just that and came back with 1001. I picked up a super snow Tremper leopard gecko and she's just precious!

I decided to name her Orchid as a sort of inside joke for me and my friends. But y'all are my friends too, so I'll let everyone in on it. My mom said the only animal I could buy from now on until I'm married is an orchid praying mantis. So I'll just tell her I got an Orchid :D

Only two pictures because this girl has been stressed out enough for one day. And of course the camera doesn't do her justice. She's so, so pink and has the bluest eyelids. More to come!

Thank you! She's very sweet and absolutely loves her back scratched!

Not interested in food yet, but I'll only get worried when it's been a couple of days since the stress dies down.

That's the prettiest praying mantis I've ever seen! At least she's not a centipede *shudders*

Lol thanks, Kristin. So glad she's not a Death Crawler. Silly Animal Planet.

And thank you too, K! Trust me, you'll catch up! They're too hard to resist.

I've got more pics to post of her later today!

Her face is so smug. Did you know there are almost half as many lizards now in the house as there are snakes? We'd need one more snake to make that happen...

Lol you know there will end up being more snakes here come next baby season.

And that's what I love about leopards..always smiling!
