is there any prey item that can be offered to baby corns other than pinkies and anoles? i never thought about this before.. but i could be saving myself a whole lot of hassle if there is. im about to have another fridge-ubator full of eggs.. fifty some days after that im going to have a mice shortage.. has anyone tried and succesfully gotten babies to eat and live off of anything else.. i for one would have no idea what else to try.. just thought i'd ask.. thanks guys (and gals).. Ty...

There are numerous places to purchase as many frozen pinkies as you could possibly use. Save your live pinkies for any possible problem feeders. You'll be surprised as to how many hatchlings will take immediately to f/t.

Im sorry for the confusion.. my question was intended to be.. is there anything other than pinkies you can feed to baby corns.. i've been reading on this site about people feeding adults frogs and lizards.. but i hadn't heard of any specifics really.. im thinking about how my garter would eat goldfish out of its water bowel.. has anyone tried anything like this with a corn? is it safe? good idea? thanks everyone.. Ty..

Pinks: readily available and cheap. You're not going to find that with much any other food that they'll eat. (small lizards: anoles, ground skinks, perhaps small frogs, also they'd probably eat pinks of different rodents like gerbils and hamsters) - I think a very big factor why we try to get them on mice as soon as possible. Any lizards you can find would be w/c, possibly with parasites- close to no one breeds them cause it's not cost effective. Plus most only want to buy a mouse-eating snake.
