Our newest addition (Sunglow Motley)

Wilder

Y HALO THAR
This little guy actually belongs to my husband, who has hinted at wanting a sunglow since I first said I was getting a snake and started shoving pictures at him. Well, finally he has one. ;)

His name is Esteban, for a character in the old cartoon series "Mysterious Cities of Gold." Esteban was a Child of the Sun. It fits. :)

I love his side pattern... and that one perfect little dot near his tail in the middle of the regular saddles.

So cool, love that pattern! But, now is it really your husband's or did you just tell him that, so he would let you get him? :grin01:

Gorgeous! I'll know within a day or two if I'm getting a sunglow motley.

*crossin' fingers n toes*

When they are really young, do they express white at all? Yours looks fairly young and has no white at all. Just curious as to how many shed.

Thanks
Kathy

LOL! This is awesome! We just got a sunglow motley last Tuesday the same age as yours, (probably from the same breeder :p ) who we also called Esteban!

Good to know our Esteban has a twin out there ;)

Thanks, everyone. :) We're quite happy with him. Since he got over his travel jitters he's been a calm and curious little thing.

He was hatched in June 05, and I'm not sure how many times he's shed. Also not sure what amount of white they may hatch out with, but I'm told by Esteban's breeder that she doesn't think he had any. I can't wait to see what he grows up to look like.

Mcarabian, that's very interesting! How was it you chose your Esteban's name? If it's from the same place, that would be quite a freaky coincidence. :)

Wilder: We picked it out of several names (I had a post asking for name ideas in the intro) - it was a close call between Esteban and Phoebus-that-means-sungod ;)
I wanted to call him Hyde but my sister insisted on Esteban, and since she's the one who bought him, she gets to name him :)

Did you get Esteban from Royer Reptiles? I believe that's where we got our Esteban.
